4/18/06

Last week was just as hectic as I suspected it would be. We went to Munfordville Wedesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday we went out to eat with another couple and then spent the night with an elderly lady from the church. Sunday morning we went up at 5am for sunrise service and we finally left church around 12:30pm. It was such a long day. Frankie, of course, preached wonderfully. He's such a great preacher. Truly.

Mid Week (4/12/06)

I had an appt with the OB Monday. Frankie went with me and all went well. The tech did an ultrasound and we watched the baby jumping back and forth. He/She was really moving! The pictures and a journal are on wwww.babiesonline.com/babies/f/frankandamysbaby

I worked yesterday for 8 hours, but won't work again this week. This weeks schedule is so busy there isn't time for much else.
Tonight we go to Munfordville for regular Wed PM services (AJ is preaching). Thursday night we're having the Lord's Supper at 7pm in Munfordville.
Friday night is the Seven Last Words Service at 7pm. (7 preachers preach for 7 minutes on one of the 7 last sayings of Christ).
Sunday we have sunrise service at 6am and regular service at 11am.

Needless to say, the rest of our week with be spent mostly in Munfordville.
In the midst of all this, Frankie has a big paper due either this week or next, so he's been working on it all week. I know he's stressed about it, but I'm sure he will do fine...he always does.

Thursday morning

April 6, 2006

Well, spring is here and with it our schedules are as busy as ever. I'm into my 9th week of pregnancy. I'm still having morning sickness as well as a low grade temperature. Hopefully the OB I'm seeing on Monday can do something about the fever.

Things at church are going well. We have a busy schedule there next week building up to Easter. We have services Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, as well as sunrise service and regular service on Sunday.

This is Frankie's last month of school for this semester. I'll be glad when it's over. He's stressed about the final paper he has to write.

On May 18 we're planning to travel to Bulgaria & Moldova with Rickie & Carol Cox. To be honest, I'm uncertain if I will go or not considering my current condition. I'll get this adivce of the OB on Monday regarding that. We're in the process of sending out fundraising letters to assist in raising the money for travel. Expenses are around $3000 for both of us.
